The accoutrement of illness.

Sick at the Beach

  1. What do you think of Deep Economy? I’m reading it right now, but having read The Omnivore’s Dilemma, this book is frustrating me with its lack of detail in a lot of areas.

  2. I’m really enjoying it, but I think because I’ve read “The Omnivore’s Dilemma,” and also because I’m 1/3 of the way through “Bowling Alone.” So I feel like I already have the detail, and “Deep Economy” is taking a step back and showing what all of this detail adds up to. I’m not sure it would stand well on its own.
