Her five-year-old son dressed up as Thelma from Scooby Doo for Halloween. His friends didn't have any problem with it, but their mothers were pretty freaked out.

The kid was dressed as Daphne for Halloween. It’s “Velma” not Thelma. My kid loves Scooby as did I when I was a kid. Best shot in that whole post, “I am not worried that your son will grow up to be an actual ninja so back off“.
Ohhhh, yeah. My Scooby Doo characters are coming back to me now. :) And I’m with you, grs—that was the moment that sold me on the whole thing. :)
