Unpleasant primaries come from dumb districts.

Both Del. Kris Amundson and Lloyd Snook point out that Tuesday’s primaries, and the nasty campaigns leading up to them, are the inevitable result of gerrymandered districts. Competition within a group is inevitable, and it will be intraparty if another party is without a presence. Everybody’s better off with fair districts.
