Ultraviolet window stickers.

Seeing birds routinely die from running into my house’s enormous picture windows, I came up with a great idea: ultraviolet window stickers. They’d be transparent to human eyes, but visible to birds. A quick google later revealed just such a product already exists. I’d rather buy a sheet of dozens of tiny ultraviolet dots, rather than images of butterflies and the like, but I take what I can get.

  1. I thought natural selection was a GOOD thing. ;-)

Seriously, nice thinking on your part. The raccoons won’t be too happy about it, though.
