  1. Nuts! I was looking forward to the release, too. Ah well – I hope they use the time wisely, unlike That Company From Redmond. (As delayed as Vista was, it should’ve been made of *solid* gold. Based on my experience with it so far, I’d say they missed the mark by a _mile_. :) )

  2. I’m waiting for Leopard to be released to buy a new tower. Do you think that is wise?

  3. I would have said “yes” if it was coming out in June — you’d have saved yourself ~$120 by waiting a couple of months. But since there’s no reason to think that Apple is tying their hardware cycles to the release of Leopard, the sole reason that you’d be waiting until October would be to save that $120. If it’s worth $20/month for you to have a tower now, rather than in October, then spring for it. But if you don’t actually need it now, and you can wait until October, it’ll only be cheaper by then. I delayed the purchase of my Mac mini (my current system) for ~six months after I decided I wanted one, because I didn’t actually need to replace my 1GHz G4 (MDD) just yet, and they were only going to get cheaper. They did, and I saved a couple of hundred bucks as a result.
