NYT: The CIA has shut down their unit dedicated to capturing Osama bin Laden. What is that charming Republican phrase that describes ever stopping doing anything, ever? Oh, yes, that’s it: “cut-and-run,” as in “President Bush cut-and-run rather than hunt down bin Laden.”

Wether or not it’s true that they “no longer need the unit” and are not giving up on the hunt for Osama, as they say in the article. It’s definately a bad Public Relations move and sends the wrong signal.
