I just paid my car tax bill. Thanks to Gov. Gilmore, I saved $7.87.
I’m gonna go buy myself something pretty.

No, buy yourself a congresscritter instead.
(I hope that doesn’t sound too cynical…)
Hmm, let’s see; you could get a coke and some fuel injector cleaner.
Or less than a fourth of the cost of the Fifth District Dinner.
Or three-fourths of a movie ticket.
Three gallons of gas.
Savings?
500 rounds of Remington Thunderbolt .22
Still only about $8. It’s the only stable thing I can depend on in this mixed-up, topsy-turvy world of inflation and increased fuel costs. *Sniff*
I’m in Richmond for the evening, having tagged along with Amber for an event she’s holding with Sorensen, and casting about for something to do. In honor of Gov. Gilmore, I think I’m going to head out in an hour or two and find myself a $7.87 dinner. There’s something appropriate about spending that here in downtown Richmond.
The Jefferson, BTW, is one swank-ass hotel.
