Good weather, good turnout.

What a beautiful day. It’s 67° here in Charlottesville, as I type this, just as it’s been for nearly a week now. Tomorrow, Election Day, the forecast high is 70° in Charlottesville, 75° in Norfolk, 72° in Big Stone Gap, 75° in Salem, 75° in Roanoke, and 72° in Burke. There’s a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms in far Southwest Virginia, and a slight change of showers in the Roanoke area but, other that, it will be mostly sunny with a light breeze.

All of that will be good for turnout. That usually favors Democrats, and I expect the same will be true this year. We’ll know in about 30 hours.

  1. Waldo, the Good Book says “For He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Matt. 5:45). It’s an absolutely gorgeous day here in Western Henrico also. And the perfectly manicured lawns are resplendent with orange and blue…Kilgore yard signs.
