Our president discovers South America.

1. The moment George W. Bush lost my support was in 1999 when I learned that despite his money, influence, and famous dad, that Mr. Bush had never taken the time to travel outside of the US.

   That just showed me someone with a woeful lack of interest in the affairs of the world or the concerns of others.

   I’ve seen absolutely nothing in the last 5 years to begin to change my opinion of him.

   Mr. Bush doesn’t care. Never has, never will.

2. Brazil’s size is even more remarkable when you look at the actual size on a Peters Map, or if you really want to mess with people’s heads, use a reverse map.

3. You’d think there’d be a globe somewhere in the Oval Office. (Waldo has an awesome globe, by the way.)
