I wonder if y’all ever heard this theory of mars:
Mars is very similar to Earth, but the reason Mars doesn’t have much of an atmosphere has to do with its Iron Core. Seems the iron core solidified and thus Mars stopped generating it’s protective bands of magnetic waves. Witht the magnetic bands, the solar winds just blew the atmosphere away.
I saw an episode of Nova once that postulated that theory, it’s somehow connected with the theory that the Magenit poles spontaneously flip every 15,000 year or so.
