UVa: 3, Waldo: 0

I applied to colleges in February, and I got the only two letters of note today. UVa declined me, Virginia Tech accepted me. This being the third time, you’d think I’d be used to UVa turning me down by now. It’s plain that they don’t want me, so I guess I’ll call it quits. That means that I have to move to Blacksburg this summer. I’m excited at the prospect of moving to Blacksburg, much like I’m excited at the prospect of having thumbtacks inserted into my retinas. Alternately, of course, I could just not go to school right now, but I’m not sure that there’s going to be a better time to do so.
