Last weekend, nancies.org won our second My VH1 Music Award for “Coolest Fan Website.” I went out to L.A. for the awards, and it was a blast. Details to follow.
The bad news is that UVa turned me down. Cold. I applied for early admission, and didn’t even get deferred to the main batch of applicants, but got a good old-fashioned “no.” Perhaps the worst part is that the university president told me that I’d be accepted if I applied. This certainly puts a hitch in my life plans.
