So we did it. The nancies.org team actually made the final cut, and we’re on the final nomination list in the “Coolest Fan Web Site” category on the VH1 My Music Awards. Presumably, if we win, we get to stand up in The Shrine Auditorium in L.A. and give a little speech or something.
The best part is that we’re winning by a long shot, outpacing our closest competition by over 2:1. It would be foolish of us to assume that we’re golden, since there’s still 5 weeks left in which people can vote.
Anyhow, I sure would appreciate it if you’d go vote for us. This is very much in line with the stated goal of nancies.org: to be the best band site on the Internet. With your help, we’ll get that recognition.
