Going hikin’.

Amber & I are leaving shortly to do a little hiking in the Shenandoah National Park. I was going to take this weekend to try and hike the length of the park in 3 days, but various forces (this nasty cough not the least of them) have conspired to make me do that in a week, and hike with Amber this weekend.

Leaves are supposed to be at their peak this weekend, so we’ve chosen a route with some fabulous views. The weather should be great: clear, lows of 50°F, highs of 79°F. We’re not going far, but that’s not really the point.

Anyhow, if you’re looking to subpoena me or something, it’ll have to wait. Oh, and be sure to check and see if nancies.org got into the final round of nominations in the My VH1 Music Awards. Because I won’t be able to see until Sunday. So if we make this round, get excited for me, would you? I’m trying very hard not to care whether or not we get nominated, but I’m not doing very well.
