C’ville of the north.

Tomorrow, off to Ithaca. It’s not nearly as far as Boston — it’s something like 7.5 hours, compared to 12 to Boston. Ithaca isn’t as far north as I’d feared. My old friend Claire (our friendship is old, not her) is getting married; she’s a grad. student at Cornell. Back on Sunday evening.

Cable beast.

Noah got digital cable. He wanted to get the Outdoor Life Network, which requires getting Adelphia‘s fancy-pants digital cable. I was (relatively) happy with our fifteen channels, but when a roommate wants to get hundreds of channels, well, why argue? Anyhow, what’s interesting here is the cable box. It’s incredible.
