I thought there are new owners and management of Xe, hence the name change and another attempt to shake stigma. Not as disingenuous as the renaming from Blackwater to Xe, but they changed the name for the same reasons.
Blackwater is is easiest to pronounce.
Academi must be some kind of institution of higher learning. Can I use my Pell Grant there?
I hate Blackwater as much as anyone and I’ll continue calling them that — they’ve earned their reputation. But a quick Google search shows Blackwater is all over the academi.com site.
I get two results, and one of them 404s. I got zero results on Monday. Google is in the habit of displaying different results to different people in different locations—perhaps you’re getting results that I’m not?
