Time Magazine has copped out on Man of the Year, which it seems they do at least half of the time, but one of their example people is…S.R. Sidarth. Time describes him as “an intensely private person” — he declined to answer many of the magazine’s questions.

Looks like Time Magazine finally “jumped the shark.” I’ve also got to question the appropriateness of the article’s sub/title(?) “The Accidental Assassin.” It’s not exactly a flattering moniker. It also makes me think that whatever the questions were the reporter was asking (S.R. didn’t want to answer)- probably wasn’t pertinent.
I agree completely re “jumped the shark.” I mean, if Waldo’s their man of the year, aren’t they tacitly admitting that they’re irrelevant?
That’s what I’m saying.
Well, at least it’ll save you the letter writing now. You can completely focus on The Nobel Prize.
