Times-Dispatch won’t endorse Goode.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch has withheld an endorsement for Rep. Virgil Goode. Their other Congressional endorsements went to Republicans. Their endorsement (or lack thereof) doesn’t matter a whit here in the Fifth District, but it should serve as a wake up call to Republicans who think that Goode is doing right by his district.

  1. Waldo, I don’t know how much the Times-Dispatch will influence anyone’s vote, but it is the primary paper for the eastern and southeastern parts of the 5th District – Cumberland, Lunenburg, Prince Edward, Brunswick….

  2. When I wrote that I was thinking that the RT-D wasn’t read anywhere in the district, but of course you’re right, Anna — it’s the daily in at least a bit of this ginormous district.
