Say what you will about ol’ Hank. He sure knows how to sniff out a loser. And this call…well, it takes a war criminal to know one.
I thought I heard him a couple of months back saying differently- in which case this would be a flip flop.?

I remember now. On Larry King a while back Bob Woodward was being interviewed about his book and attributed this quote to Kissinger: “Victory in Iraq is the Only acceptable exit strategy.”
I wouldn’t have a problem with it if it was honestly “reassessing his opinion based on new facts in a changing world.” However I don’t think that is the case in as much as it’s “watching which way the wind is blowing and adjusting accordingly.” Maybe it’s the same thing, but for me he loses any credibility he might have had. Now he just looks like an old football player trying to stay in a game he should’ve retired from years ago.
