  1. Assuming this story gets any sort of coverage, I cringe at the posthumous personal assasination of the character of this woman coming from the right. After all, who would be so affected by giving someone “a dunk in water?”

  2. Don’t try to tar the right with that broad brush. Assassinating the character of the troops is the province of the left. See Durbin and Kerry.

    I don’t want to get into one of these idiotic “who supports the troops more” arguments, but you’ve got a lot of gall in the light of recent events to accuse the right, pre-emptively, of wanting to tarnish the character of this young lady.

  3. The Kerry thing was a stupid joke gone wrong. If you believe otherwise, I’d like to hear why.

    I have no interest in getting into a “who supports the troops more” argument, as I think there are people on both the left and the right that are willing to assasinate the character of individual troops for political gain. As far as my prediction, if this story gets traction, I suppose time will tell. Given Rush Limbaugh’s reaction to Michael J Fox’ political ad, I certainly don’t consider that above him.
