  1. CR UVa:
The Post endorsed Wolf over Feder. Not exactly a strict Democratic agenda. Seeing that Wolf-Feder is suprisingly close, you think a liberal conspiracy would include endorsing a Democrat with a good chance to win.

  2. Wolf has represented his district very well for many, many years. Hell, Wolf was my Congressman when I was in high school in NoVa over 25 years ago. The Post knows Wolf will win, and every now and then they do endorse Republicans… funny, though, the Post only does that when it’s a safe GOP seat.

Wolf-Feder is not close. That’s more wishful thinking.

  3. come on now, y’all must be liberals, would you ever vote for a conservative or a republican?

  4. I don’t care to catalog all such votes (it’s a secret ballot for a reason :), but one that I don’t mind mentioning is in the Blacksburg Town Council race. There were three seats up, and I voted for a Democrat, an independent, and a Republican. They were simply the best candidates, and I didn’t see what party affiliation had to do with the issues in the race. I was happy to vote against a couple of the Democrats.

The “yellow dog Democrat” thing is something I’ll never understand. I’ll vote for the best candidate, regardless of their partisan affiliation. I have found that the best candidate is nearly always a Democrat, but when that’s not so, I have no qualms about casting my vote differently.

  5. ok, thanks for your explanation, I will always vote for what I think is the best candidate, but for the most part they are generally conservative
