The Washington Post‘s Juliet Eilperin and David Fahrenthold look at the demotion of ex-State Climatologist Patrick Michaels and explain the larger context of the role that position in states throughout the nation. Much more exciting is the news that President Bush may be preparing to reverse his position on global climate change. Even if that’s just pandering, it’s the kind of pandering I’d get mighty excited about.
