VPAP’s website enhancements.

I’m at the Virginia Public Access Project open house, on the 8th floor of the General Assembly Building, and I’m excited about a couple of improvements to their website. Not only have they added a blog, but they’ve added RSS feeds of their data. There are nine RSS feeds, helpfully listing things like new PAC registrations, corrected errors, upcoming filing deadlines, etc. Cooler still, there’s a keyword-based feed, so that you can have a feed for updates for particular legislators. (Note that it doesn’t include all filing data, just any data that would appear in the other feeds.) Both of these are really helpful enhancements to VPAP’s offerings — I intend to keep an eye on each of them.
