The local Red Cross just called. They can ship me out on October 14. If things work out better than they did last week, I may have a date with New Orleans.
They are, by the way, the only organization to follow up with me thus far. I’ve registered formally with a half dozen organizations and made offers via phone or e-mail to a half dozen others.
