The introduction of Blogads.

I’ve decided to start selling Blogads on this site. First and foremost, I’d like more money (wouldn’t we all?) and this seems like a nice way to go about it. Secondly, I get a great deal of e-mail every day from candidates, PACs, and non-profits who are looking for my help in promoting their perspective. While I don’t intend to do any less of that than I do now, some of these folks may find it more suitable to just plop down $25 and run an ad for a week. I haven’t quite figured out where to put it on each page, so I’ve just stuck it in a div in the top right for the time being.

Payment is via Paypal. $25 for a week, $45 for two weeks, or $90 for a month. For a lot of advertisers, I figure that’s pretty cheap, given the pretty choice group of folks that this blog reaches each day.

My sincere thanks to Jon Henke for helping me get this set up.
