I just now noticed that, since it’s an odd-numbered year, McCain-Feingold/McConnell v. FEC (depending on which side of the law you’re on) federal campaign funding regulations just kicked up a notch. The $2,000 per person per candidate per period contribution limit is pegged to inflation, so it’s now $2,100 per etc, or $4,200 per cycle. That will hold through 2006, and then be readjusted in 2007.
