When Iranians kidnap and torture Americans for political reasons, that’s cause for great outrage, especially when those Iranians go on to be president and vice president of the nation.

But when Americans kidnap and torture Italians for political reasons, that’s not a problem, especially when the American authorizing it are president and vice president of the nation.
