NAION blogging.

Inspired by Michael Buffington’s grand experiment with his Asbestos Blog, today I started a Viagra/Cialis NAION blindness blog. Rather than explain much, I encourage the curious to read Buffington’s explanation of his asbestos blog.

Suffice it to say, I have no interest in the topic at all, but I have a hunch that the value of Google ads on the topic is about to go through the roof. So I’ll run a blog about the topic for a couple of weeks and see if it’s a profitable enterprise. Unusual, perhaps, but it only took an hour to set up the site and write the first stories. If I spend an hour a week on this, it’ll be worth it to see how it pans out. Incidentally, nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy turns out to be an interesting and unusual disease that I don’t mind learning about.

  1. Keep you updated? I’ve got a whole blog about it! ;)

I’ll be curious to see if these Google ads promoting Viagra will go away. On a website all about how Viagra will make you go blind, it seems a little out of place to be advertising the product in question.
