Gibson on Virginia blogs.

Bob Gibson had a story in yesterday’s Charlottesville Daily Progress on the topic of Virginia political blogs. It’s a particularly noteworthy piece because Bob completely ignores the ridiculous blogs vs. media debate that many bloggers and columnists insist on having. (Blogs wouldn’t exist without traditional journalism, journalism benefits from the check of blogs. End of debate.)

He rightly refers to Rick Sincere’s site as “one of the smarter blogs,” me as having “a wicked sense of humor,” my cvillenews.com as having “had a refreshingly sharp series of discussions about problems in the Charlottesville public school administration and School Board” (discussions for which I can take little credit, but I’m equally impressed by), and Commonwealth Commonsense as being “one of the best,” which it certainly is.
