Mad Magazine has a very funny spoof of President Bush’s campaign ads, based on what he did to Sens. John McCain and Max Cleland, and is trying to do to Sen. John Kerry — “The Bush Campaign’s TV Commercial if He Was Running Against Jesus”. 
It seems to me that, to understate the point, President Bush’s actions are markedly different from those of his philosopher of choice, Jesus Christ. Eric Schwartz had it right when he addressed President Bush, singing:
One day you’ll face the pearly gates
And whatchu gonna say
When that long-haired Jewish peacenick
Sends your ass the other way?
