I got an A.

It took a lot of work to establish sufficient credit to get a credit card, and I’ve worked in the past few years to build up my credit rating. It’s very rare that I have any cause to do anything that involves a credit check — my preference for working with local businesses means that I am my credit. So I was pleased to talk with T-Mobile‘s credit department today and find that I have what they called an “A-rated credit status,” such that they offered me up to ten phones on my contract. (I asked who in the world would want ten phones. The girl, Kim, could not tell me.)

It’s a small victory, but it’s exam week, so I take what I can get.
