It’s neat that President Bush has created this commission to determine why we went to war with Iraq over weapons of mass destruction and found, once we got there, that there were no WMDs. The shame of it is that this commission isn’t allowed to determine if the White House lied. This commission isn’t given subpoena power. President Bush made clear yesterday, in his interview with Tim Russert, that he will refuse to be interviewed by this commission.
