Making the grade.

I got my report card. As, maintaining my A average. Phew.

After UVa turned me down last week, I wrote a letter inquiring as to why I had been declined. No word yet. I don’t think that it’s inappropriate for me to want to know why, particularly given the circumstances. Maybe it’s mascochistic, but I really would like to know what, specifically, took me out of the running. I assume that I won’t actually get a reasonable answer — it’ll likely be something along the lines of “we had many fine applicants that we felt were more qualified than you.” I figured it was worth asking.
