I’m too old for this.

I’ve been working on filling out the application for UVa, as I’d like to start there next fall. It’s really surreal — easily half of the questions simply don’t apply to me. They want to know about my guardians’ income (I’m 23), how my grades are this year (what grades?), what my favorite extra-curricular activities are (what curriculum?), and write essays on trite topics that are appropriate for, say, 17-year-olds. It’s loaded with stuff that has nothing to do with me. I guess I’ll have to make a list and call them in the morning, because there’s just no way that I’m going to find a high school to fill out the “guidance counselor” section for me.

I don’t know if this is lame or interesting, but I’m leaning toward the former.
