Smoky day.

There are big fires up in the mountains. It seemed really murky and oppressive downtown this evening. It hasn’t rained in something like 40 days now. I finally managed to connect the three a few minutes ago. Outside, it smells like a campfire and makes my contact lenses uncomfortable. It so strange to have an event on television change the way that my office smells and the way that my head feels. I think that if more things on the evening news gave us headaches, we’d all be a lot more involved in the world’s problems.
