Public Policy Polling has Sen. Creigh Deeds in the lead for the Democratic nomination. One poll does not a trend make, but these results do seem to jibe with my perception the momentum of the race in the past couple of weeks.

Yep, looks like Deeds clearly has the momentum. Now he’s got to hold onto it for the next week.

There’s a new Survey USA poll coming out soon, sponsored by D.C.’s ABC Channel 7. I know because I got the call last night. I was asked who I’d support in the primary, and who I’d vote for in a matchup of McDonnell and all three current Democratic candidates.
