Blatant lies? Yes. But for a good reason: to teach kids to think critically about what they read on the web.

There was an annual (probably more frequently, but I believe it purported to be annual) email that went around listing a bunch of facts. “Did you know that an elephant’s sneeze contains, on average, 5lbs of mucus?” and that sort of thing. I really wanted to make a list that probably had one or two true facts on it, and the rest filled with plausible or implausible lies.

    In short: this is fantastic.
