Recommended bills on Richmond Sunlight.

I recently established Richmond Sunlight Labs, a staging area to play with new technologies on the site that are in beta. My favorite new feature is Recommended Bills. After you’ve looked at a dozen or so bills on Richmond Sunlight, that page will list some bills that you haven’t yet seen that are similar to the ones that you’ve already seen. It’s a way to discover legislation that you might not otherwise notice. I’ll be curious to hear if it’s useful to anybody.

Prefiling is well under way, incidentally. Intermingled with the bills carried over from last year are a bunch of new ones—they start at HB1579 and SB801, and count up from there.
