Republicans are losing evangelical Christians.

Republicans are losing evangelical Christians, thanks to the issues of climate, social justice, and Iraq. They’ve lost 15% of white evangelicals aged 18-29 since 2006. Without “compassionate,” it’s just conservatism.

  1. I really don’t think that the average American really understands all the ins and outs of social justice. Without a reform of our government’s social programs, social justice in the US will just be a hollow promise from politicians. If a politician promised to subsidize gas purchases at the pump for any socio-economic group that he felt needed help, he wouldn’t actually be helping break our nations dependence on oil; much the same, our current social welfare system just continues to throw money at the problems instead of looking for a way to teach people how to reach a level of independence. Maybe I’m just not compassionate enough!
