Creationist textbook “Of Pandas and People” claimed to be utterly unrelated to creationism, having employed the Christianist phrase “intelligent design” in place of “creation.” During the recent Dover creationism trial, the judge subpoenaed the original drafts of the book and, hilariously, the authors wrote the book using the word “creation,” but later ran a search and replace to swap out the word “creation” with the phrase “intelligent design”. In one draft, a poorly-crafted replacement string led to every appearance of the word “creationist” being replaced with “cdesign proponentsists.”

There were also some typos missed by the search and replace. Hilarity ensued.
