Richmond Sunlight press conference.

The press event for Richmond Sunlight will be held tomorrow, at 9:30am, in the General Assembly briefing room adjacent to House Room C. Rev. C. Douglas Smith (the Virginia Interfaith Center’s executive director), Delegate Chris Saxman and I will all participate. All are welcome, of course — bloggers and traditional journalists alike.

  1. Sean-

If Waldo doesn’t bring the requisite equipment (which I doubt he’d chose not to), I can provide an MP3 recording.

  2. How did Delegate Saxman get involved?

I don’t know — this event is the Interfaith Center’s. I’m just showing up. :) I suspect it’s because he’s known as an advocate of open government, which would make him rather a natural fit.

I’m afraid that I don’t own any such equipment — just a little memo recorder, so I’m sure Sean would appreciate that, Joe.

  3. I have my laptop setup with a (full-size) microphone and software for recording MP3’s on-site. It came in handy during the election season.

Wish I could have made it down there today, Waldo. My daughter is in town from California, and we stayed up too late.

    Congratulations again!

  4. Congratulations, Waldo! I’m sorry I missed the press conference, but I’m looking forward to using richmondsunlight.com on a regular basis, especially during the General Assembly session.

I’ll be telling all my Republican and Libertarian activist friends to check it out.
