Online training for R.
There’s also an R wiki and this great guide.
I write a lot of R.
R makes me want to gouge my eyes out. If there weren’t already four bazillion canned modules that do the things I need to do, I’d have written them all in a humane language.
As it is, I am basically writing Ruby wrappers that generate R code to access these functions so I don’t have to look at the R.
I’ll have to show this to Lisa, as she is taking statistics for her doctorate degree in Occupational Specialties and Technologies (I think).
She has SPSS right now, but she will be interested in this alternative and the resources in the comments.
