Sea Oats

Which was fine, because it provided an excuse to visit museums and other indoor endeavors, mostly up around Kitty Hawk. Along the way we stopped at the Pea Island Wildlife Refuge, where we chased an alligator snapper until it chased us, fought off enormous packs of mosquitos, and observed these sea oats as the sky roiled overhead.
