A year after the rule change allowing subcommittees to kill bills on unrecorded votes, Bob Gibson looks at how this rule has been used, and he’s not happy. I’m not sure who could be happy — it’s trouble all around. Sen. Deeds is right — House Republicans have become what they abhorred in Democrats a decade ago.

  1. Responsible Government isn’t just a matter of paying for your responsibilities, it’s a matter of service and accountability. Va House Republicans have clearly forgotten that seminal truth.
