It’s now clear that in a debate over character, Sen. Allen loses. So Allen has finally decided he wants to talk about issues. Jim Webb obliged, laying out policy proposals regarding Iraq last Friday. Allen’s response? He griped that Webb is turning Iraq “into some sort of a political game” by talking about it. Um.
