They closed George’s Tavern, one of my favorite places to go. We were all ready to go there in July while one vacation, but it was nowhere to be found.
I like Mako Mike’s, Kelly’s and another few restaurants. But watch out for Dairy Queen: $6 Blizzards in season. Wow.
I’m actually pretty far south — Cape Hatteras — and not up in Duck/Corolla, where we usually go. I’m not used to things down here. It’s a whole different world. :)
