Of the hundreds of photos that I took at last month’s Albemarle County Fair, I’ve whittled ’em down to three that I intend to enter into the photography competition at next year’s fair, into the categories for photos taken at past fairs.
I have another forty three pictures of the fair on Flickr, with at least a few others [1,2,3,4,5] that I quite like.
Waldo, that’s a helluva steady hand you have for a 1/25 shot
You only see the single shot I got right, not the dozens that came out all blurry. :)
SKEEBALL!
Now that this new-fangled “information splendid-thoroughfare” I really must “up-load” some of the old tin-types of the New Amsterdam Target Bowling Society.
Ah, now here’s a rare photographic document of the Society’s founder, B. Broderick Von Vaughn, in his natural habitat…

Good show, Wot!
I am totally not making fun of that guy’s weight in #3… but I swear he looks like someone inflated my dad (even his head) all cartoon like. And hey Waldo, is the kid next to him Mathew? That kid really looks like Mathew.
Nice work… even if the last one is freaking me out.
Just some random people, I’m afraid. :)
That last one is great. The guy is just totally unfazed.
I dub him “Big Eli.”
you did a great job getting these!
