My Flickr tag cloud.

I increasingly treat my Flickr page like a blog unto itself, as I often find that some stories are better told with a photo than with words. Here’s my Flickr tag cloud, summing up my 571 photos to date.

You think this is bad, you should look at the tag file on DailyKos. It truly is a headache and hard to maintain. The problem is that no two people will stick to a convention, and no one has the time to either police it or administer it by correcting tags. Several one-name entries are in place, as if people don’t have first and last names.

Poetry? That’s an interesting take on it. It also shows in a glance what the most posted subject is in Waldo’s photo account. I have a photo account, but I am much too unorganized to make it into something people can look at. I use it exclusively to post pictures on blogs, including my own neglected one. (Some more of that same disorganization, plus several political campaigns that take up my gardening time as it is.)
