Sometimes I forget that California is not a country.
I love this, and I hope it sets a precedent. It’s one great thing about the US that states have the power to do this sort of thing.
Oh, c’mon Waldo! This is just silly! California has been writing its own environmental standards for years. So it enters into a contract (which states can do, BTW), and the Governator uses the occasion to pander to his state’s environmentalist wackos.
“Global warming” may be occurring, though it is such a highly politicized topic that it is virtually impossible to know the truth.
What is almost certainly true is that human arrogance, inter alia, explains the belief of many that it we have any power to influence it.
