Vacation.

I’m leaving in the morning for a long weekend in North Carolina’s Outer Banks: Corolla, NC, where Amber and I were married last September. (Though the house we’ll be in is a wee bit smaller this time around.) We’ll be back late Tuesday afternoon.

I’m feeling a bit impish: I’ve written a pair of blog entries, scheduled to appear over the next day and a half, each of which contain some rather exciting news that should be of interest to everybody. This is how I compensate for being gone. I encourage you to begin feeling excited now, pre-emptively.

  1. I predict … Waldo will soon be a dad.

What the other post is about I have no idea.

  2. It looks like we have different definitions of “really exciting news” …

  3. Bummer! We came down to Corolla on Saturday (and are here until the day after tomorrow). If I’d known, we could have tried to meet up! Hope you and Amber had a nice, relaxing time!

  4. That surely would have been a nicer way to spend that rainy day, too. :) I’m sorry today’s such a bummer for y’all down there, but yesterday was awesome (day after we left, natch), so it all balances out. Have fun!

  5. We had more nice days than crummy/cold, so I’m not going to complain. I got plenty of time sitting by the pool and at the beach. I just don’t want to go home tomorrow!
